Tranfer case stuck in neutral

Went on vacay towed my xj everything was great. Towed it home now its stuck in neutral all fluids are full and trans seems to be working cause grinds when put inti park and can feel it shift from neutral to reverse and drive.

That may be it then..... When I had to have my XJ towed home on my friends dolly I put the tranny in neutral and my tc in neutral...
I reasoned that it could ruin something..... Already fixed so many things on her no need to chance causing a problem if you could have prevented it. Sounds as if you'll have to be taking the tc apart.
