Whenever i go to fire up the Jeep nothing happens. I'll put it in neutral, turn it, nothing happens. it takes several repetitions of trying to start in in park to trying in neutral to finally get it to turn over. When it does it's only in neutral. Can anyone tell me what's going on??

Neutral safety switch, also controls your reverse lights. It is located on the passenger side of the trans. They are expensive to replace. Most of the time they foul out due to moisture and dirt that gets inside of them. It can be cleaned and repaired for about 15 bucks. Use the search on this website to look for the repair process. There is a thread that details the process on it somewhere.
