Knocking noise from drivers shock
I have a knocking sound from the driver side shock. I was told there is some sort of kit to stop it. Is this true? Its annoying as hell

there are rubber bushing isolating the shock where it mounts. if they are cracked or worn than the shock will make noise. I've never heard of this being a problem on jeeps tho. check your ball joints

he's talking about the bar pin eliminators (BPE).
check your upper and lower shock bushings. your top nut may be loose also.
if you're using the hardware (washers) that came with your aftermarket shocks, they are smaller than stock ones. i like using stock ones.
also, skyjacker had a run of bad bushings for the last couple years. you may want to get new ones if you use these shocks.

It is a rough country lift. Thanks. I was gonna replace the shocks anyway so I will get my brother to check it out

the shocks may still be fine, it could be just the bushings/isolators that are pressed into the loops on the ends, or the threaded rod that goes up under the hood.

I had this issue and have to replace the eye bushings o the lower mounts of my front shocks. They cracked and such. You can get them at the parts house.
