Default keep snapping u joints ON STREET? 8.25 rear

96 XJ 2 door 5 speed w mods, no lift, 31x10.5s, chrystler 8.25 rear. I keep snapping the strap clamp u joints. I'm on my 7th set under warranty with new yokes from chrystler and best strap clamp set from napa. still breaks =[

was racing a banks F250 he hit boost hard. being a mustang guy, i started powershifting . i was winning. launched the driveshaft from under the car...again =[

whats a decent upgrade for a u joint on the cheap? everyone snaps em constantly i see whats the easiest whats the cheapest, couldnt find enough info searching.

Dont bash me too hard for powershifting my XJ.. I know it wasnt smart.

Start with not trying to race your jeep. Get good u-joints and make sure you are installing them correctly. check all your rear end attachments, if the axle is shifting around it will trash u-joints quickly. Another thing to try is not driving like a jack ***

One would think after the 2nd set of U-joints, racing would be a bad idea in a jeep. Now we're up to 7?

how is a power choke any different? people that street race diesel pick ups are lacking many things also. at least out of the box the xj does have some serious snot for a 6 banger.

hell have you ever felt a stroked 4.0? they are downright animals
