Hey there Jeepsters... I'm a sort of interloper, but have owned 2 Jeeps in the past and my son has a 1 year old Jeep. My question is about a electric radiator fan that I'd like to possibly use in another car (69 Camaro), and its the MOPAR Part # 52079528AB. I've heard it is fairly powerful, possibly 4000 CFM and was wondering about the dimensions... which are hard to get because they're either not listed or they give you a shipper size. I've got a tight fit between the radiator and the serpentine accessory belt system I'm using, but by shifting a fan slightly left, right, or up/down... I can possibly fit a bigger variety of fans. I had looked into the infamous Lincoln MK VIII fan, but (a) its built into a deep shroud, and (b) the motor protrusion is very significant.

Hoping that there's someone here that has used/has this MOPAR fan in their jeep and that they'd share some dimensions with me. Thanks in advance for any/all help.-Mike

I have that fan in my 2000 Grand Cherokee 4.0, but it's only rated at 2800 CFM. With the shroud, it measures around 7.750" thick. Go to rockauto.com and look up the VDO offering for my jeep. It has a whole list of dimensions.
