Default Jeep 16" Ultrastars

Hello, I just picked up a set of 60th anniversary Ultrastars in great condition. Just wondering if there is any reason to leave them stock finish or are they not in demand enough where I could refinish them in a gunmetal or similar without them loosing value?

Never heard them called that, usually referred to as Icons. Semi rare, only on XJ's for 2 years but are found on Liberty's.

Paint 'em, it will make the 5 I have worth more $.

I've thought about painting mine. I like black wheels.

if they were mine, and I wanted them a different color - I'd paint and not worry about it.

Well.......okay then.

I like the Icons more but I guess you have a set of rarer set than I previously thought.

60th ****-versary XJ, I thought they were made from '83 -'01. Humm.

I count......1....2....3............................ .18 years in production.

But I suck at math.

in 2001 jeep was 60 not the xj.The Cherokee name started in 74 in the fsj when the Cherokee fsj ended in 83 the name was used for the xj.Which made the Cherokee name 27 in 2001 and the xj was 17 at the time.
