Intake manifold
Ok, to start with, I have an 87 2.5 XJ. On my way to work today, the bracket for my power steering pump broke. The piece that is cast into the intake manifold (not so much the bracket itself, but where the bracket bolts on). So now I have a hole the size of a quarter in my intake manifold. Do y'all think JB Weld will hold up as a temporary fix to piece it back together until I can find another manifold? I'd rather weld it as a temporary fix, but my buddy is out of town with the TIG

Id think JB weld would probably work great there. Just be sure to CLEAN the aluminum and scuff up the area really well before applying.
Wonder why it broke in the first place??
