Is this basically all I need to do to clean them?

Can I take out my old injectors ans clean them, and then put them back in? or would I need new o-rings and all of that?

Never reuse o-rings if possible. They have a tendency to tear especially with age. The last thing you want is to have is a pressurized fuel leak at the rail. Also, take a good look at the fuel rail while it is off of the car. Mine was corroded at the ports and if yours is also, take time to clean it up before you press the injectors back in. The corrosion can rip the new o-rings. I found this out the hard way. I used a Dremel with the wire brush attachment. I used a small amount of motor oil on both rings with each injector to press them back into place during install. This makes them seat easier with less chance of damage.

When I swapped the engine in the '97, I replaced the injectors with a set of Bosch. They have three spray ports instead of the usual one. Makes for better atomization of fuel. I like the performance of them and the cost was very reasonable.

If you need any help with this, just e-mail me. officer64@aol.com.
