i've decided on skyjacker 6" rock ready lift kit so I can stay within my budget this year of 5000 & still be able to install u-body stiffners, 4 bolt steering conversion, new teraflex hd 4:1 t.case w/short shaft kit(just purchasing), & JKS tie rod. goal is to be able to go muddin pretty heavy light rockin & on vacation I drive out on beach of Assateague but it does that now. I have put Sumitomo LT235/75 tires, brute force u-joints & wheel hubs, with brembo rotors & porcelain pads front & back new drums too. but I was just tryin to keep it rollin. its my 2nd xj now but sold 1st one(98 classic) to buy this 1 cause interior was trashed inclassic only had 2 seatbelts & I had a baby on way. hopes are to beef up undercarriage throughoutyear(2010) really liked clayton's setup to provide strength but price was little steep & would have to finish drivetrain before install $$$$
