Default Idle/ acceleration hesitation

How's it going everyone!

I have a huge problem. So basically my 91 jeep cherokee laredo with 307k miles has been acting up, whats been happening is i start it up no problem starts up find a couple seconds later it decreases in rpm down to about 500 and then stays there then goes up to 700-1k rpms and then drops back down to 200-500. Also when i drive and im accelerating it will stop accelerating basically hesitating to increase in rpms and then i heard a wear knocking sound as the whole car shakes.

this is the recent parts ive replaced.

fuel pressure regulator, spark plugs & wires, distributor cap and rotor, new o2 sensor, recently had a oil change, and new alternator.

i just recently bought a fuel filter and am wondering if it could be injectors, or fuel pump? it seems like the car isnt getting the right amount of fuel to get it up and going or that the spark isnt there? if anyone can help that would be amazing

Why not check for tripped codes?

Having the exact same problem, with the same symptoms, tested fuel pressure today and it was really low https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/199...e-help-213128/

It seems like we are having the same problems on the same vehicle

OEM sensor or aftermarket? Older XJs you need to adjust the TPS when you install them, I believe.
