looks like a dana 35 or a 8.25

dead give away is (besides the fact that it looks like a C8.25) the rubber drain plug. all Dana axles have screw in drain plugs

yea, ive seen all the diagrams, i just didnt wanna make the call if it was the 35 or 8.25. they just look too similar to me.

The 35 also has the rubber plug. The flat bottom of the case is a dead giveaway for the 8.25

Nope not all dana's have a screw in plug

I think the non c-clip 35s from the older Renix era XJs have screw in plugs, saw about 5 D35s at the junkyard the other day with screw plugs, all in 87-90 XJs.
