The add says 87-89 but thought I'd ask. I would prefer a manual vs my auto.

You should be able to find an AX15 that will work for your Cherokee for about that price.
If you want to make the swap as painless as possible find a parts Cherokee. All the small parts and clutch parts you'll need will be there, plus you'll have something to look at to make sure it is going together right.

Glad I asked. I like the idea of the parts rig... I would need lots of smalls to do the swap. And who doesn't need a parts rig?
So swapping from auto to manual, the neutral switch just needs jumped & pedals, master/slave etc.... Right? This would be a good time to upgrade T case too.

Another "newbie" question.
What do I have to do to get manual locking hubs and fulltime 4wd?

The search for a complete parts rig begins....
I scrapped my old parts rigs at my parents house recently.
They live less than 10 miles away & have acreage. I'm on a city lot.
Oh well whats one more?
Thanks for the info guys!!
