I'm running the AT Grabbers. No problem at all with wet traction. I like them.

+1 BUT I got to look at the Kumho AT51's yesterday. Within a couple $'s of the Grabbers. I was impressed with the tread and it's pattern. Need to decide by the end of next week.

They're going to be on our dd Blazer. We live 1/2mi off the state rd. and with the steep section it can be rough going at times. The Grabbers on the XJ do fine that's why I'm leaning towards them. But I am impressed with the AT51 tread pattern.

I'll second Cruiser's recommendation for Khumo KL78's. I'm about 5 years into my set and consistently see 22-25 mpg highway... LT235/75R15.

Out here in the west, the stickers and rocks pretty much necessitate an LT tire...more sidewall the better. If you don't have sharp pokey things to deal with, P rated tires are probably just fine.

My pops just got a set of Cooper S/T Maxx's and swears they ride better than the stock Goodyear Wrangler highway tires...and that there is no noticeable change in gas mileage. A little louder though...

I'll keep that in mind when it's time to replace my Grabbers.

How's the road noise on the Kuhmos? On the cement? Any opinions?

Which Kuhmos? We have mentioned several different models. My AT51s were very quiet for an AT tire. I loved them.

KL78s are also a very quiet AT tire. No complaints.
