Haha I am aware. I plugged it with my finger and no change. It's a VERY weak vacuum. I searched and searched and absolutely can NOT find out where it goes. The charcoal canister has its two hoses attached.

I've been all over the engine bay of his Jeep too and am stumped on it. It did pull good vacuum when I hooked up my gauge to it. I had the throttle body off and that thing is spotlessly clean as well. The Charcol canister appeared to be setup right and not tampered with. Didn't look like it was missing any hoses. Been scratching my head trying to figure this out. Idles right at about 1000 1100 or so.

Can either of you see any adjustment on the throttle butterfly stop screw?

This. Also I adjusted the kickdown cable today and now with the engine idling so high when I put it in drive it grabs hold and jumps forward. So I would really love to get this solved!
I'm gonna mess around with that hose tomorrow and see if I can find anywhere to put it.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what that is. I posted a picture of the throttle bracket earlier in the thread, there was something that was threaded (I couldn't see if it was a screw or not) that the bracket actually landed on when it was down. I don't know if that's it or how to tell if its been adjusted.

Better readjust somethings wrong here if kick downs causing higher idle ....As for the hose see where other end connects .Do your Ac vent operate properly?

You adjusted your kickdown cable too much and it is now holding the throttle valve too far open. I'll take a picture of my throttle body closed today to show you how much it needs to sit open. It's not much.

The canister has two hoses going to it. They are connected.

Oh yeah, duh. I don't have anything with an auto anymore lol. It seems like he could have loosened it too much so it is allowing the tension of the throttle cable to hold it open more.

There is a slight gap at the throttle valve. If you put your ear up to it while it's running, you can hear the air hissing past it.
