Clearwater head is in...I broke the TPS while disassembling...but should be an easy adjustment. I tried placing it back onto the throttle body as it was before it broke, but it's obviously off a bit...gonna tinker with it tomorrow.

Otherwise, driving this XJ now vs before almost makes me feel like I fine tuned it into a race car

 

TPS needed to be removed. Took all of 10 minutes to look at it, realize where the spring and contacts needed to be, and then pre load it to accept the rotation that the intake valve on the throttle body was intended to apply to it. Very satisfied with everyone here even though the recommendations to have my 0331 original head compression tested were not heeded. The writing was on the wall with this one after replacing everything in the coolant system aside from the heater box.

Please PM me if you'd like more in depth knowledge as to my actions in order to fix the coolant loss and high pressure in the coolant system after higher rpm's and longer trips. I have a strong desire to keep these XJ's on the road and will go to any length to help anyone learn from my decisions, whether mistakes or not.
