I went to do the high idle switch mod today, pulled the first connector off the ECU and found i have no grey wire at pin 12
I have a 2001 2 dr 5 speed
I attatched photos below and there is a grey wire in there but im not sure if its the correct one.
Any help would be appreciated

From what I can see in your pics, it looks as if pin 12 is empty. I'm guessing here-- it could be that it is blank because it is a 5 speed. I believe you could add the wire in the slot for pin 12.
I am going with Pigeon on this.
Never occurred that a manual could not have a Ext Idle switch.
But I guess when you thing about it the Ext Idle only works in park or neutral.
A stick not having park and neutral in just theory when not in gear.
Same problem here but no solution.
