Default Heater issue- hoses cold going to heater core

I have been reading tons of posts on heater problems and have yet to find my answer. I have a 94 with 4.0. When engine is at temp both heater hoses are cold. Shouldn't at least the top one be hot? What is my issue? Thanks for the help.

Did you do any work on the cooling system lately?

Could be a blocked heater core. If you changed the thermostat lately, the heater bypass could be somehow blocked too. One of the lines could be blocked.

That's all I can think of, but I am nowhere near the most knowledgeable here.

Isn't that a mod that will disqualify you from the survivor thread?

Too late for me to even consider that, the washer fluid is aftermarket and the factory air escaped my tires long ago.

Well see, there is where you messed up. I am still using the factory air in my tires, but have had to transfer it to many tires over the years.

Uh- oh. Unless your XJs factory original tire air was transferred into Genuine Mopar® tires by a Chrysler certified Jeep tire technician at an Authorized Jeep Dealership ...It may not qualify as a Survivor.

I KNEW I should have gone with junkyard tires from low mileage wrecks!
