yes i tried search and all i got back was stupid threads with "blinker fluid" remarks lol. make: 89 limited/stock
today after installing some power cables to the cabin to run my radios and other equipment i went for a drive to go pick up dinner for me and the wife, the left blinker light stayed on and the relay wouldn't tick and the front blinker light was dark. i pulled the the relay and it stayed on. so i checked the column harness connector disconnected and re-connected. same thing. light stayed on. so after picking up dinner i had to go to the store, it was working fine but when when leaving the store same problem. any ideas before i tare apart the dash looking for some electrical gremlin?

 

Had this problem. Start by testing ur park light's. then use the blinker if it dont work, Pull the bulb check it and see if the Ground melt plate came off mine did. If that dont work Cut the Bulb Connector off and replace it with a Ford GM one. There located at an auto part store. Mine had this issue but the ground was rusted out. hope this helps!

Agreed on the grounds, on the grounds that goofy things are usually grounds.
I guess I'd be curious what might have been changed/bumped? when you did your wiring.

 

My last LS1 car had 9 broken light bulbs in the blinker lense lol. Replace the light and if it only lasts a day or 2, replace the damn light pigtail

 

blinker bulb is constantly lit when the lights are on, not burned out. but its weird, the front turn signal is out when its doing this, and it works like normal when everything's ok.
ill check the grounds, probably a good time to upgrade to led's while its all apart. that's what i love about old cars, the strangest crap happens and its usually pretty entertaining

 

Either your seeing the parking light as the blinker or some **** got melted somewhere
