DRL flickering after harness upgrade
So after upgrading my wiring harness,( I got the putco kit one as I'm not so good at electrical), I noticed that my DRL are flickering at the same rate as the engine idles. I made sure all connections are tight and I put dielectric grease on all my connections. Also the battery is new, (bout a month old). Could this be my alternator going? I think its the original.
Thanks for the help.

The DRL works on a reduced voltage, the relays on your harness dont activate unless given 12v (probably more like 10v). The voltage the DRL is giving to the relays is probably somewhere right around the point that the relay picks up. I would jusy bypass the DRL as there is really no way to pull this off with the harness upgrade.

I believe there is a fuse or a relay under the hood for your DRL's, you should be able to just pull it and that will disable them. Let me see if I can find a link.
Edit: Can't seem to find a diagram online, I know I saw the lay out in my owners manual.
