New to the forum guys! But I have a 95 xj sport. My temp gauge wasn't reading correctly so I changed my temp gauge sending unit ( located on the ds back of the head) now the gauge won't work at all. Is there sensors with a different resistance?

It would be helpful if you listed the part number from the sensor you got, but there are two different sensors for XJs up through '96. One part is for the dummy light and the other is for the temp gauge. I'm guessing you got the former.

 

The part number I have is WT4307 it's suppose to be for the gauge and not the dummy light. Unless they gave me the wrong part, or the sensor is bad
