Check this out guys
Got the plugs in the 4.0 and the pacesetters in their place(not tourqed yet of course)
But check out this gasket that came with the headers!

It hung over the head ports like 1/4 inch!
Luckily my motor came with a new gasket as well. This is the one that came with the motor compared to the pacesetter one

Always use the gasket for the intake manifold you are using.

Intake or exhaust manifold?
My intake will be coming from the original 88 4.0 in the jeep.
The gasket I (think) will use is the one that came with the remmanned motor.
As you can tell from the pics it does not hang over.
Are you saying I need to use the one that came with the headers? It hung over about a quarter inch and did not seem right

Lol I got ya.
The headers Are supposed to be for 87-90 but there gasket hung over obviously.
The motor is an 88 remanufactered and there gasket fit perfect. I'll be using my intake manifold from my 88 renix.
After it soaked in dish soap for 12 hours of course! Lol
