Default HELP! Installing Lift.

I'm putting a lift on my 91 Larado with 242.
I got the front of both the leafs bolted in and passenger side of the axle loosely bolted to the leaf. But I can't get the driver side to bolt up. The driveshaft seems to have NO play or slip at the TC to allow the axle come back far enough.
Any Advice?

How much lift are you putting on? Is your rear swaybar still installed. What shocks do you have? Are they still installed.

I don't have a SY but there should be some front to back play in the driveshaft for removal and rearend flexing.

I just did my lift and on the rear I had to play a serious game of up and down with the jack to get it all to line up. Try adjusting the jack height and a pry bar to keep the shackle going the direction you need. Patience is you friend to get them to line up. They will though.

It took me an entire day to get mine fully lined up. Just keep at it and moving things around they will go in.
