Default help! brakes are super touchy.

Hello, I have a 1991 jeep cherokee laredo 4.0 straight 6. Ever since I've gotten her the brakes are super touchy, I have a new vacumm booster new mastercylinder and new brake bads. I have blead the brakes from the master cylinder and from the tires. Starting from farthest away. If anyone could give any suggestions on trying to fix this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Please be more specific. "Super touchy" can mean a lot of things. Is it pulling hard to one side or the other? Is there pulsation in the pedal when coasting under light brake conditions? Can you brake lightly at-all? Are the rears locking-up?

It does not vibrate and it does not pull. And yes I can lightly push the pedal down, but if I push it down a tad more then it is like I have it slammed to the floor. And no the back brakes do not lock up.

well, since your brake light is on i would deff...make sure you have enough fluid first, then check every line make sure no leaks (might need two people), after that check your rear wheel cylinders make sure they are in decent condition, might even replace them like 18bucks for two of them. and i would try bleeding them again, make sure you go passenger side rear, driver side rear, passenger side front, driver side front...just double check everything

How did the drums look when the brakes were done? I would put a brake pressure gauge on one of the bleeders and watch the pressure rise with pedal movement. If the pressure is steady, you have one of the brakes grabbing.

I'm thinking that one of your rubber brake lines has an internal defect that acts like a pressure valve (internal delamination forms flap-like protrusions that can behave like a one way valve). It allows light pressure until you exceed a certain pressure value and then - POW - it releases a whole lot more fluid to the brake(s) all at once. Sort of opposite the problem I was having where the calipers could not return immediately following removing my foot from the pedal. That one took a long time to solve and boy did I feel stupid after finding the cause (spent too much time/money).
