Okay... first a Class 5 trailer hitch is defined as...
Class 5
Any Trailer hitch with capacity greater than 10000# gross trailer weight and 1000-1200# tongue weight. Usually a 2.5" receiver or in some special cases a 2" receiver.
There is not one made for a Cherokee.
A valve cover is easy to change..
If you are looking for something for rear recovery, you can get a tow hook insert from Tomken or about 5 other manufacturers..

Do you hear banjos?
They are sold at Harbor Frieght for about $15.00, if they are carried in your area. If you can fab, than go for it it would be cheaper! VC gasket is easy! I have never heard of RR towhooks, so I can not give an opinion on them. Hope this helps!! Did you get a new keyboard, because your posts look better, easier to read!! Thanks!!

If the hitch came off of an XJ then it is alright but as stated a Class V is a whoppin' big hitch. Only seen those on dual wheeled pick-ups and larger trucks.
The valve cover as also stated is an easy fix. Just make sure that the old gasket/gasket material is completely removed from both surfaces before putting the new gasket on.
Never seen any Rugged Ridge hooks so can't really comment except to say that their stuff enjoys a very good reputation.

I've had RR tow hooks on my Jeep for about 3 months now. I have pulled 2 people out and they still look good, no bends, tweaks, etc. They install in about an hour. If you do get them, retorque the bolts after a few days and then check them again after your first use. This is recommended for any aftermarket tow hooks, not just RR.
