adjustable is nice. i had a rustys one with a tie rod end on it and it didnt do a thing. So i made my own track bar using heim joints because it takes the play out of the steering wheel. just changing over to a track bar with a heim took 80% of the slack out of my steering wheel. you can make one for about $80

Do you need new sway bar links? I've heard by a few people that with 3" you don't need news ones and can run stock. My 3" lift from rusty's doesn't come with them...

If the 2.2 shocks are available for your kit. Otherwise I would do the upgrade to NRC9000's

you don't need heim jointed track bar.
any double shear bar will work.

do you have skid plates and recovery points already?

With that kit, you can run with stock parts. That kit even includes the drop brackets for your sway bars. As for the bastard pack, I have never done it before but I did do a lot of research on it. I wouldn't want to tell you any false information just out of memory, so I recommend researching it yourself. The more you read about it, the more you will know about it and the more confident you will be when it comes down to doing it yourself.

No problem. I hope you enjoy your Rough Country lift as much as I do mine.

P.S. Good luck with the Hornet!

I cant wait to get it!
And as for the hornet, if all goes right i will be racing it at our kind of local track, on the 30th. All theirs left to do is wait for the rotors to get here. Clean the motor up (get rid of the oil) put new valve cover gasket on it, maybe new plugs but i dont think it will need and Make sure i dont do anymore burnouts so i have tread left to hook up on

Haha good. I'm pretty bad with the Jeep burnouts. =( Seems the more expensive tires I drive, the more stupid drivers are out there and the worse my road rage gets. Oh well...

I got my lift. Went rough country. It showed up today, its getting put on this weekend. Oh and it got a random anti freeze leak, not bad, but going to try to find out why it is leaking sense the skid plates off. Its dripping off the passenger side of the skid plate and isnt leaking up top.

I've never in my life see someone have to bash things so much and never ever be able to provide ANY evidence whatsoever to back any of it up.

Go with the rough country man, you'll get a better deal if you call them direct though and ask for jason. Tell him you're from this forum.

Edit: NVM, I see you already got your lift. have fun with it!

32's on a 3" lift. I've seen it. There is some cutting involved. I run 33's on 4.5" lift which really measured out at 5.25" after settling.
Personally, I still think that Rusty's kit I sent you is the way to go. But I only say that b/c I'm in my chair and not in yours. I wouldn't waste money on 2" of lift. Just get the 3". Hell if your lookin for instant gratification. Just get that RC lift (it kills me to say that b/c i dislike RC products).
Piece it together if you have to. That's another option. Maybe you find used spring pack. Then score some used tires and rims. That also might be the way to go. But again use your resources. Rusty's has a sales & clearance section. Craigslist. CF sale section. Throw out a post that your lookin for suspension stuff.
Check this site out. There is a parts exchange section. 5-90 is his screen name, but he's an awesome guy.
