code I'm getting is P0740 any ideas what I look into about this ?

Is the torque converter lockup working? Test: steady speed above 45 MPH, gently tap the brake. If the RPM's jump up about 300, the converter was locked (and just unlocked).

I didn't notice at all been going up to 70 with no problems I'll check though

checked it out level is good but trans fluid is brown with a little tint of burnt smell probably just needs changed

I just changed the solenoid for this. Pulled it out and it did not work at all. I haven't gotten a light for it but I've only driven about 100 miles since I did this on Sunday.
