P0204 code need help
1998 JGC TSi 5.2 magnum.
MIL tripped code randomly.
Swapped #4, #2 injectors. Code followed back to #4.
Checked resistance on injectors all within specs.
Seen that # 4 plug has bare wires.
Pulled harness.
Stripped back and replaced the #4 plug.
Taped up and reinstalled.
Fired up. Same code.
P0204
Checked voltage. Have voltage on g/r AND on pcm wire.
Stripped back harness all the way back to pcm plug.
Wires all good.
Am I missing something?
How do I check if pcm lost #4 driver?

Put a test light on the injector wires while it's running. You should get a pulsing light on the PCM feed. The injectors are hot 12v and the PCM makes the ground connection. When the injector is "on", the light will be dark or dimmer. At idle, the injectors are just barely cycling. It could also just be a broken solder connection on the #4 injector pin connection at the PCM.

Pulled harness. I had the #4 injector wire in my hand from the injector plug to the pcm plug. Solid wire. Pulled the pcm plug apart, good solid end.
Only thing in the circuit is the #4 injector driver in the pcm.
Is there really any reason to pry open the pcm and look?
Or should I see if I could find a pcm to throw on to check before I sink 199 for one off eBay?
