Lucas oil and gas products are awesome!!! They have worked well in my 91. Fill your axles until the oil seeps out of the plug hole on the diff. cover. That is the full indication.

I use syngear 50 same thing they use in the big trucks. you don't have to but it's my own personal preference the front and rear take about 3 quarts each

I've heard nothing but good about Lucas chems from the field (haven't used them myself yet, but the reports from the field are universally good.)

Capacities and recommendations per FSM can be found in the Tech Archives on my website - link in sig.

My own personsal perferance I use syngear 50 in my tranny and diffs for motor oil I use Shell straight 30 as for the Auto I have I just make sure it's topped off Ive never dropped my tranny pan and I won't because of the high mileage Ive used lucas in my power steering with good results withing a mile of driving the whining noise went away now I don't even hear the power steering anymore.

Welcome the '91 XJ crowd ... i use walmart el-special..gear oil.. why? its cheap.. and i dont have any lockers that need the "good" stuff and at under 5 bucks a bottle? cant go wrong!.. 2 bottles and you use 3/4 of the second bottle.
side fact.. my buddy has dana 60s on his jeep.. 6 bottles to fill.. Yikes!

yeah, can't go wrong with Lucas products. I run a '91 xj straight 6 4.0 HO, and I almost always use the oil stabilizer when doing an oil change, and regularly use the upper lube/injector cleaner fuel system additive. Haven't had any complaints at all with their products, especially the oil stabilizer. Use that, and if due to money constraints or something you cant get an oil change in a timely manner, you know that the oil viscosity has some extended life.
