Does anyone know what the gasmileage should be on a 96 4.0

stock is 18-20 i hear. i get about 14-16 with a 3" lift and 31's, but my tstat is also going bad on me

I get 17.8 with 235/75s, a cracked manifold, and bad oxygen sensors.

Default Jeeps
All of the Jeeps I have owned from Cherokee to V8 Commander to Grand Cherokee and a Liberty, not in that order. All have about 18 to 22 mpg on the road, less in town. Cherokee should get 17 to 21.

I get around 15 with a cracked exh manifold, a intermittent working cylinder 1 fuel injector, and a bad cylinder 4 exhaust valve.... All of which are getting replaced in a next few weeks.

wow i really have something going wrong. 97 3.5 lift 235/75/15's and im only getting 13mpg and im all highway 23 miles to work and 23 miles to home.

So am I. My 88 only gets 14mpg no matter where I drive. Of course I carry about 900 lbs of tools wherever I go just in case something happens. And I wonder why I'm sagging so much in the rear!
