Default Fuse Box - Hot Lead

Where can I get a hot lead wire (always on) other than the radio and wired from the battery? Does the fuse box (underneath driver controls) have an alway hot lead? if so, what is the fuse # on the box. Thank you.

Power outlet maybe. My 99 has a switched outlet and a constant outlet. Couldn't tell ya what fuse that is.

Here's a thought.

Take a test light and probe the fuses and find which ones are hot without the key on......

I will test the fuse with a test light this weekend. Thanks for the input.

You can also take a moment to think about what things in your Jeep work when you do not have the key in the ignition; headlights, dome light, stop lights, etc... When you realize what works without the key then you will know what fuses to look at in the fusebox...

(..and the wiring diagrams in the manual you should have and read will state which are always hot...)

Found a hot wire. I'm using a relay to break the fuel pump connection for security purposes. Does anybody have a diagram that shows the proper connection 30,87,86,85? I've tried different versions with both hot wire and ignition power. Basically, I want to use the fog light switch as a kill switch so when its on (fuel pump electrical - off) my dummy security light goes on. I've searched the internet but no luck for what I'm looking for.

Does the relay need to be hot - on at all times with the switch acting as a ground? Stuck at this point.
