I understand that all I'm saying is you can buy a fuel pressure regulator as a seperate item if some reason you would need one. Napa part #2-19735 $119.00 for the part

So is the sending unit back to the gas gauge part of this assembly or is it separate from the pump / pressure regulator assembly? I imagine it would be.

You buy the whole assembly inclueding the sending unit or just the pump with the sock if need just the sending unit it is a dealer item as far as I know.

If you were to unplug all the hoses and one wire connector from the pump, remove the retaining ring and lift, you'd have the entire unit in your hands. Pump, regulator, sock, float, sending unit, etc. So yes, the sending unit is indeed part of this assembly, but it can be seperated from everything.

You get what you pay for at Oreilly. Napa's parts in my experiance seem to hang in there a bit longer.

If you compare name brand to name brand they both last the same....I cant say about each stores house brands.

BorgWarner at Napa and BorgWarner at Oreilly are the same high quality parts.

I had a transmission shop for over 20 years and I have compaired the different stores and I can tell you that Napa has good parts and Oreilly has good parts but overall Oreilly has better prices.
