I had no luck with the frame bolts, the one under the motor mount had a circular nut on it I used vice grips, heated it up no luck. I would try the castle nut first on the track bar end, before resorting to unbolting the frame mount.

 

all this info is accurate , no one mentioned hVE A NEW TRACK BAR BUSHING ON HAND WHEN YOU GET THAT FAR

 

Hey there. I am having a little issue. Just had a new track bar put in and yesterday while getting off the highway I felt it shaking. I stopped and saw the track bar hanging.

The track bar bolt broke off on the passenger side. I never bother to see what kind of bolt was on before. But I had it towed to the shop that put it in and this time they put in a bolt with a washer. Looks like s**t and I'm not comfortable with it.

I have been trying to find the bolt and nut and whatever else I might need.

Does anyone know what type of bolt and size it is? Nut? Etc.

I think I'm just going to do it myself.

Again its the bolt that ties into that weird looking bracket on the passenger side. I read somewhere that it has to be a flanged nut. But they didn't describe the size or anything.
