Default Front Fender Trimming

Sorry to bug you guys but, I've tried using the search box but all I've found are write-ups primarily on the rear fender. If anyone has a link to a good front fender write-up with pics I'd appreciate it.

For the front fenders you can cut as much as you want because there is really no structural support there. So a write-up is not really nessicary.

I understand that it can't be that hard, but I'm curious how people dealt with the black plastic liner/guard item. If it doesn't serve a purpose I'd remove it but my guess is it's to help keep water outta the engine bay. I was wondering how people reattached it since the lip of the flare is no longer there.

i threw mine away. it fell off a while before i trimmed the fenders. it does keep water out of the doors in you open up the holes for the electronics.

So if I plug the holes and hit it with some undercoat it's all good?

yup throw them away or keep um don't matter if you keep just trim it and use zip ties

Take a pool noodle/float and cut it in half to put in your fenders to stop water from going in to the door jam.

Has anyone done a tube fender conversion? Similart to what is done to TJs.
