Default front driveshaft slip

Is it possible to replace the short splined piece on the front driveshaft? If so what is the proper name for it? I will try to get a picture of the problem. Thanks

Grab a complete front drive shaft from the junk yard, worst case throw some new ujoints in it.

Would probly get a used one but I just replaced all the u joints and the centering ball, which was a pain. How is the piece replaced, ive looked for a write up but all that comes up is sye install.

Ive beat, pryed, and twisted with no luck. Having a hard time finding a used shaft.
