Hi all,
I've got a leak at the top of my driver's door which means water comes down the inside of the glass, down into the door and the bottom of the door is starting to rust. There's very slight play in the bottom hinge so I'm looking to change the hinge pins but I'm also looking for a replacement door seal. Sadly the usual sites all list them as NLA. Does anyone have a source for a replacement or a cunning plan to use something else?
Thanks!
not sure how easy they are to get out, but as a last resort, a wrecker would be cheap...i scavenged a better rear tailgate seal for one of mine out of a wreck
AWG: Sadly there really aren't many XJs in junk yards over here. Old vehicles aren't left out for years because they just rust out.
OldTires: But that could be the right seal! The original was formed to the shape of the door rather than just being on a roll - which is why I guess this one works for front and rear...
Got to be worth a try. I'll get on with the hinge pins first, Shipping from the US will take a few days.

Thank you!
my bad, didnt notice you wernt in USA, its getting harder here to, especially with the pre-update models, which were only sold 94-96..most go to metal recyclers,
but there is at least a couple of places over here that seem to cover the XJ model, and would almost certainly be able to obtain a part if you let them know in advance

My English must be improving
I'd love to go to the US again, this time I'd visit the junkyards with a toolbox and a shipping container! I'm not convinced my Wife would be sold on the idea :/
