Hey guys...any insight on this would help. I started my jeep and moved it out of my garage so my buddy could get his in.So I back it out and shut it off, I hear a terrible buzzing noise from the passenger side interior.Best I can relate is a buzzer on a dying batterie. So I turn the key forward again to see what the batt gauge read, and none of the gauges or dash lights came on for a couple seconds. I try starting it,the lights come back on and all it does is crank. Wont start. The gauges and dummie are all working when I turn the key forward now,but it still wont start. Thanks....

OK...so I swaped relays and checked fuses...nothing helped. I disconnected the battery for a few minutes(dont think this did anything),then cranked it over, sounded like it wanted to fire so I put the gas pedal to the floor and it fired. Now its starting just fine.Im going to check the fuel pressure, possibly replace the fuel filter...any other suggestion?

Replace the battery and make sure the connections are clean.

Battery is good, itll crank forever. What would cause it to need the gas pedal pushed to start?

Flooded will need pedal pushed to floor to clear. Could happen from extended cranking/ no start. Not sure as to what would've set up that scenario though...

A stuck IAC motor would require you to have to step on the gas to get and keep the engine running.

Check and clean all the grounds (not just the main one). I have had lots of strange things you would never think of as a result of a lousy ground.
