The addition of a header will change the sound a ton.

is there really a big difference? i have 2.25" now, but dont have enough money to replace everything between the muffler and the headers. can you somehow do 2.25" in and 2.5" out with the muffler? or am i better off getting the 2.25" in/out? or is that even worth it... i really do want my jeep to sound deeper and louder

i also noticed that performance curve only has the 2.5"... or atleast thats all i saw..

I have performance curves 2.5" tailpipe, flowmaster super 44, and 2.5" high flow cat connected to my stock downpipe via an adapter. Just haven't had the time to deal with a new downpipe plus I hear the dent has clearance purpose?

Negatory, it is to create higher backpressure on purpose to get the exhaust gasses hotter for the catalytic converter.
