I'm interested in the T-case Novak shifter. I'd love one of these on my Cherokee but have read so many mixed things about them, and haven't been able to find any installation pictures for anyone that is running it. If you could provide them that would be awesome!

I love it... only complaint is that the shift points aren't illuminated, but you get used to it real quick.
Here's a few more pics:

And here's a serious revival response-- It's an l98 smallblock 350 . I believe it came out of a Camaro.
If you're going to do this build, I highly recommend considering either an lt1 or an ls1 --- they're at the point now where they've been so mass produced that they're really not that expensive. it's a bit trickier to install, but novak sells just about everything you need.
If you're going to go with a pre lt/ls motor, do your research. GM produced many differnet versions of the small block, and many different sub-versions. The l98 was sold in the corvette, Camaro, and light trucks, each had wildly different hp numbers.

I know a bunch of guys that did an lt1/ls1 conversion, and they haven't had any problems. If I was going to do it over again, I'd probably go with an LS1/ls2 --- much more efficient motor, more tq, more horsepower, and and a wider power band. and the LS1 badge looks baddazzz :-)

and if the water pump leaks or seeps out water, it will be much shorter than that
also LSx=/=LT1
Prior to announcement of the c7, I would have said lsx > lt1, but now seems the reverse is true. :-)
Also, lsx doesn't have optispark, it has coil-on-cylinder. and given how many are out there, they may actually be cheaper than an lt1. Which is why, if I was doing this again, I'd probably go with an lsx motor.

new 33" tires, front and rear bumper
HAd to take the rig off the road for a while ... now improved with 33" tires, new front and rear bumpers, and a winch (also new starter motor and radiator, but that wasn't by choice :-) )
