Default Exaust manifold leak.....bad mpg?

As my exaust manifold leak seems to get louder and more prevalent, I seems to be getting worse and worse gas mileage. Could that be the issue I'm getting 12 mpg?

Very possible, my wifes HHR had an exhaust leak at the flex joint, hers went from 28ish avg to 24ish avg, I fixed it now its back up.

I had a serious leak and fixed it. I don't know the exact numbers but it was defiantly getting better gas mileage after the fix.

do what you please for the sound, but it the leak is far enough up, it can cause serious problem. Mine was blowing hot air into the engine bay so much that it melted my wiring harness. not fun
