Engine knock? Or something else?
New to me 92 Cherokee Laredo, 4.0 4x4, very very nice condition, but noticed this very slight knocking sound from under the car, any ideas? Possibly flex plate bolts, or...... something very bad? Only makes the sound under 1200 rpm, after that it goes away. Gets faster/slower with engine speed, stays the same volume from cold start until hot engine. Can't hear it at all from the engine bay, only under the car

Just do the flexplate bolts. Very common anyway.
