Default Driving light install

I have a 95 xj 4.0 auto wanting to put aftermarket driving light on it. It doesn't have factory ones, everything seems straight forward with the install but I don't know which headlight wire to tap into for the relay to make them turn off when high beams are activated. Please help!!

If you have a Haynes or Chilton book it will tell you... but im feeling gracious today my Haynes book says it looks like a Lt green wire going to the headlights for the low beams... When you go to high beams it should turn off like you want... My many amps do they draw? Dont want to overload that circuit

I think 10 to 15 but the wire comming off the high beam is a signal wire to the relay isn't it

? My wiring diagram says that the lt green wire comes from the headlight switch and goes into both headlights for the low beam. Thats what you wanted right? The white wire goes from the switch to the high beams in both lights and the indicator on the dash. You want your lights wired like this: Power wire on lights spliced into lt green wire on back of headlight assembly. Ground wire to any good ground spot on the jeep.

Yeah because the lt green wire wont have power going to it... I did the reverse of this for my lights on my light bar, high beams on, low beams off

Yes sir it will. If you wire them according to the posted diagram, the relay will be triggered by the low beam. So when your lows are on, the accessory lights will be on. When you switch to your hi beams it will kill your low beam along with your accessory lights. The hardest part is going to be finding the correct wire.
