Question Dragging Right front in 4WD

just bought my first Cherokee. While I only paid $500 for it, it is actually in pretty good shape for a $500 car.

1992 Limited - 4.0L, AW4, not sure what diff or gears

Select-Trac 4WD that has issues. this is what I'm asking about. When engaged in 4WD, part time or full time, the right front seems to be dragging.

Even in 2WD mode it clicks a little in reverse. Not to mention the NP242 TC woes. (the whole getting it in and out of 4WD thing)

Could it be something broken internally in the diff?

Thanks in advance

It is more likely the brake caliper is stuck or won't move back and forth
