Diff fluid question
Hey fellas,
Quick question, I pulled the rear 8.25 out of my bro's 93 sport to swap into my 91. I wanted to verify gears and also swap lube while i was in there. I cracked it open and indeed it is 3.55's which made me supre happy
since i wont have to swap front and should be good till i do a regear.
My question is can I run 85W140 Max-Gear Royal purple synthetic diff lube instead of the plain jane 80W90?
The rear end is an open diff, But me and my bro have about 3 cases of the Royal Purple since it is all we run in our drift cars.
So can I run 85w140 royal purp???
