Mine work well, though I lost the ability to adjust the brightness so they are at max brightness. I used blue color led's and very easy to see everything at night. They were installed about 7 years ago and there wasn't an option for dimmable bulbs. I believe the are T10 bulbs.
Unlike the oem, you have to have them set in the socket correctly as to the positive/negative or they won't come on. Wish I knew that before putting the dash back together...lol
hope this helps

Nonability to dim is a no go for me. I want to retain my night vision. I hate the blue lights on my modern radio, it is a freaking light show, and it is not dimmable, I covered that stupid light display with black tape, but it still is a pain on the eyes at night. It is a safety issue specially on dark roads, but even in city lights at night it is not good, on country roads it can be outright dangerous.

What I do find that affects my night vision the most is the vehicles that are equipped with the "Ultra White Super Bright" headlights that is in oncoming traffic whether in town or out in the country. Not sure why people feel they have to light up the dark side of the moon to drive at night.

Never understood why dash lights were dimmable as most of them are inadequate at best. On the other hand XJ's being a notable exception, don't understand the urge to convert to LED's unless, of course, your inner fashion victim, demands you change the colour.
Big fan of uprated headlights though (always have been) but +200%, or even 130w, bulbs properly adjusted, will not dazzle - same can't be said for many other conversions..

That was a very well made video of the whole thing thanks
I'm not sure I like the green dash lights. Marine and Navy prefers red for non-blinding. For headlights, a headlight harness and more light are an improvement but only if you have a good pattern. Bright lights scattering into oncoming eyeballs is just annoying and useless.
