Default LED instrument lighting

I just installed the first of 3 sets of LED instrument lighting in one of my Jeeps. I opted for the green color. www.onewaylight.com

Came as a kit with all the bulbs labeled as to their placement. Very reasonable pricing and no guesswork.

Thanks for the write up. I really hate how dim the dash lights are on my '96. I may just get this.

Takes all the guesswork out of this project.

I wonder if they include lights for 97+ switches (rear wiper, fogs).

This is tempting, but I know too much about night vision to not wish for red of considerably less intensity than they appear in the photos. Are the dash lights as bright as they look? Perhaps my wish is a bit moot since 97+ gauges are backlit, aren't they?

Blue is an especially odd offering since that's particularly bad for your eyes at night, though I suppose most don't know the nuances and/or just want a particular look.

I like the green. I'll try and drive it tonight. Notice the photos. One is with the garage lights on and the other with them off.

Yeah, I see the photos, but it's so hard to get a camera to be "honest" about lights.

Just tried it in the dark. I like it. Not real sensitive to dimming but I don't care. It's bright and subdued at the same time.

All about color spectrum. Blue is bad. Bright, but bad. Not a fan of red at all, so I'm really liking the green...seems bright but not obnoxious.

Why is blue bad? I did mine in blue and like it, I didn't look too deeply into it but I grabbed a cluster at the junkyard to mess with in case I ever had to pull mine apart. It had blue leds in it so I swapped them into mine to see if it would work and they did.
