So instead of spending all the crazy amount of led bulbs for the interior could I just get an led strip and just glue them to something flat and then stick them in like the dome lights and wire them in? And the same for the floor well?

 

Most of the LED strips I've seen have a self-adhesive on the back side. Like sticky tape. It's very strong, too. Strips will not be ideal for a dome light situation; you are better off getting the LED grids that are available. These are the ones I got, unfortunately they are discontinued and I haven't found a similar product on SuperBrightLEDs. I'm sure you can find them elsewhere, though. SBL has been fantastic for my LED projects so I try to keep business with them.

These are what I used for the floor. They plug right in and all you have to do is ziptie them up out of the way. A little pricey but well worth it if you want bright LED lighting from a respectable vendor.
