I'm looking for 4.10 gears for my XJ Dana 44. I've found some good inexpensive ones from a 2007-2012 JK Dana 44, I'm assuming those should work shouldn't they? 44 is a 44 right (assuming both are low pinoin)?

What I was always told too if you are gonna regear go as high as possible the first time since they are the same price.
I been looking at 4.56 for about a year now. Mainly cause I want to run 33's.

You got an auto or manual trans, Rob?
My 4.10s are perfect for me and my manual on 33s.
But, yes, if you are gonna regear its best to do it once and only once. They arent easy, and arent cheap to get done.

How high can you go on the ratio without having to change the carrier? I read the break point was 3.73 and down uses one carrier, 3.92 and up uses a different carrier. Is this true?
