Default Font Axle Shaft Cross Reference?

Alright just want a more definitive answer, the PO of my 89 took out the drivers side front axle shaft and put in a CV style shaft, and well i really don't like it at all! It binds up horribly bad while turning left and i need to make a trip to the JY to get a new axle shaft set up. What years should cross reference fine to the 89 or will the basically all be fine? Thanks for your input!

if it's in a jeep cherokee with a D30... then the drivers side will fit.

Any D30 from a Cheorkee/Comanche or Wrangler. The length and spline count is all the same, the only difference is some will have a bigger u-joint. Just make sure you note what year and model you pull the shaft from, so you can replace the joint if need be.
