Default dana 44 hp swap

im swapping a dana 44 hp into my 96 xj and was gonna see if anybody knows were to buy the control arm brackets and mounts. also should i just measure it all and put them on where they were or near (where ever measurements tell me) as they are on the 30? any betther methods?

check out tnt customs they have truss with all mounts and brackets mounted to it so you set your pinion angle weld the truss on and wala you got the mounts and a truss

jeepkid, you going to plunk down almost 600 bucks?

theres the lower mounts, the uppers are harder to find, but are out there...they can easily be built homemade though...

uh no if you would have looked you would have seen a price tag of $169 where are you getting 600 bucks plus the headache of making sure those are both lined up perfect

lining up is easy with measuring tape and a level.

but you dont get the strength of a truss and why not make it easy as possible just sayin i would rather have a truss for the same price

yeah $169 till you click all the boxes to add all the link brackets that you need $169 is for a bare truss the pic has all the optional brackets on it they add up real quick

its all good just clearing that up so no one orders assuming it has all the brackets for that price

if you dont wanna drop the cash for a expensive truss i would dare say that ballistic and ruffstuff are both awesome companies from what ive seen and read

I second the TNT truss. I dropped the cash on it and it is definitely worth it. Makes measuring real easy and strengthens up that front end real well.
