This passed sunday I skidded on some black ice and side swiped a light pole. I'm trying to determine whether I should get a new door or fix it my self. I'll post some pictures later. If I get a new door at the Pick n Pull does it have to be the same year or can I use earlier model doors. Also, could I paint the door myself if I got a new one and if so, how?

I'd just get another door. They're a dime a dozen.
I'd suggest getting a late model door for simplicity. Swap your door panel over and pay someone 100 bucks to have it painted and you're good to go.

It's dented pretty bad. The frame of the door it's self is bent slightly and the door hand le broken to where I can't open it using the inside or outside handle. Does anyone know if i could use the parts inside my current door as far as electrical on a new door? I'm going to try to post pictures later

Its best to just get a late model, the pre and post 97 doors have slightly different lines so it would just look off. Look for someone parting a jeep near you

white is pretty easy to match up when it's faded, so you're better off finding a white 97-01 door at a junkyard. it won't be more than 50 bux, that way you don't have to sand and paint that likely won't blend in, then you'll still be out more than 100 bux.
look for a white door.
